
Appier announced on the 25th that it is acquiring AdCreative.ai, a generative AI-based creative production and optimization company headquartered in Paris, France, for approximately $38.7 million (approximately KRW 55.2 billion). This acquisition is Appier’s fifth major acquisition since its first acquisition in 2018, and aims to expand its generative AI product portfolio and expand its presence in the global market.
“This acquisition will strengthen our product portfolio and our generative AI and data capabilities, and expand our service capabilities in global markets,” said Chihan Wei, Appier’s co-founder and CEO. “Combining Appier’s leadership in the Asia-Pacific region and rapid market penetration in the U.S. with AdCreative.ai’s strategic presence in the European market will drive the growth of ROI-focused AI marketing solutions in global markets.”
Through this acquisition, Appier will strengthen its ability to provide generative AI-based solutions, enabling it to maximize performance and cost efficiency across the entire advertising lifecycle, from ad creative creation to performance optimization. In particular, it is expected to create new growth opportunities for companies through AI-based advertising and marketing in dynamic industries such as e-commerce, gaming, and consumer goods.
