The next-generation unicorn festival '2025 STAR HACK Demoday', hosted by unicorn accelerator 'Star Ventures' (CEO Moon Ji-eun) and SK Securities, was held successfully on the 24th.
This year's Demo Day was attended by CEO Moon Ji-eun of Star Ventures, known as the Baek Jong-won of the startup world, executives from SK Securities, JX Investment, Midas Donga, Ulsan Changgyeong, SJ Investment, and other major domestic venture capitals and global investment firms, as well as experts in the AI, biotech, and eco-friendly fields. The nine teams from the third batch of 'Star Innovation', which are attracting attention as unprecedented ultra-gap, deep-tech technology companies, showcased their innovative technologies and growth potential and engaged in a heated pitching competition.
'Star Hack Demo Day' is a representative startup event hosted by Star Ventures and SK Securities every year, and is considered a preliminary unicorn festival where 'Star Innovation' teams share their achievements and meet with investors. 'Star Innovation' is an acceleration program conducted by Star Ventures and SK Securities, and is a one-stop micro VC-type acceleration program that discovers innovative BMs with global competitiveness and deep tech and ultra-gap innovative technology companies and grows them into global unicorns.
At this event, various excellent technology companies in the AI and biotech fields, such as ▲Cubic (security solution through AI synthetic data), ▲Aim Intelligence (AI guardrail security solution), ▲Fluent (AI agent development service), ▲Innocep (dialysis machine membrane development), ▲Booster Lab (digital ticket solution), ▲Lipiz (kitchen automation robotics cloud solution), ▲Play Monkey (virtual child care solution), ▲Arame Materials (development of eco-friendly packaging paper), and ▲Twinwiz (functional liquid antibacterial and antiviral additives), presented their achievements to date and received great attention from investors.
