Representative Yoon Tae-i of the Food and Drug Industry Association, selected as a youth policy committee member of the 'Fair Trade Commission 2030 Advisory Group'

Climate tech startup Consciousness announced on the 25th that CEO Tae-i Yoon has been selected as a youth policy committee member for the 2nd Fair Trade Commission 2030 Advisory Group and will begin his activities.

The 'Fair Trade Commission 2030 Advisory Group' is an advisory body formed to reflect the opinions of young people in fair trade policies. This second advisory group consists of a total of 21 young people, including 12 who were reappointed and 9 who were newly selected. The advisory group is divided into three divisions: consumer, corporate transaction, and competition. It will carry out the roles of reviewing fair trade policies, conveying young people's opinions, and finding promotional methods for one year.

As a member of the corporate transaction division, CEO Yoon Tae-i plans to provide opinions on creating a fair transaction environment for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises, franchise and agency operation, and dispute resolution policies. Based on his experience in eco-friendly fashion and ESG (environment, society, and governance), CEO Yoon plans to discuss the impact of fair trade on creating a sustainable industrial ecosystem.

At the inauguration ceremony, Fair Trade Commission Chairman Han Ki-jung said, “The Fair Trade Commission will make various efforts to protect the rights of young people and support their economic activities.”

Yoon Tae-i, CEO of Food and Beverage, said, “I believe it is important to provide policy support so that startups can grow in a fair trading environment, and as a youth policy committee member, I will contribute to creating a fair market order.”

Meanwhile, 'Siksikju' is a climate tech startup that realizes sustainable social values through eco-friendly fashion, and has recently been gaining attention after receiving certification as a social enterprise of the other (creative and innovative) type from the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
