Aberer and M&COS Sign Strategic Business Agreement

Aberer, a data-driven e-commerce solution company, announced on the 25th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with cosmetics manufacturer M&Cos. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to innovate the entire manufacturing, distribution, and sales process of the cosmetics industry and present a new growth model.

Aberer is an e-commerce company that conducts distribution sales business on various e-commerce platforms including Coupang and Amazon, and improves sales performance through the development of marketing solutions. It has a solid e-commerce sales network with over 40 partners, and provides differentiated marketing services through the artificial intelligence (AI)-based sales effectiveness analysis platform ‘Dister’, the purchase experience group review platform ‘Solishop’, and the transit shopping solution ‘Sparrow Mart’.

M&COS is a manufacturing and R&D company that has been in charge of OEM/ODM for major domestic cosmetic brands, including the men's cosmetics brand 'Objet', the women's cosmetics brand 'Medion', and the functional cosmetics brand 'Vedite'. It has a diverse brand portfolio and in-depth know-how in product development and production.

Through this collaboration, both companies plan to actively support cosmetics brands that have excellent product capabilities but are having difficulty finding sales channels. Aberer plans to provide optimal matching between brands and manufacturers based on consumer data analysis, thereby realizing efficient product development and distribution.

In addition, Aberer is pushing for expansion into global e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Shopee. It is planning to fully enter the global market by establishing overseas offices and recruiting global e-commerce experts, and also establish a localization strategy tailored to the needs of overseas consumers through the excellent product capabilities secured through cooperation with M&COS.

Aberer CEO Kim Byung-jun said, “Recently, brands with product quality and marketing capabilities in the market are facing limitations in their growth due to the complex distribution structure,” and added, “Through this collaboration, we will present an innovative distribution model and support more K-beauty brands to succeed in domestic and international markets.” M&Cos CEO Moon Jae-hwan said, “As consumers’ cosmetics purchasing patterns are rapidly changing, product planning and production using market data have become important,” and added, “Through our collaboration with Aberer, we will be able to develop products that respond more closely to consumer needs.”
