Dewey provides performance management solutions to KFC Korea

Dewey announced on the 24th that it will provide its continuous performance management solution (SaaS) 'CLAP' to global chicken and burger brand KFC Korea.

KFC Korea is a global brand that has been in Korea for 41 years this year. It currently operates 201 stores nationwide and launched its official app in 2017, and currently has over 2.42 million KFC membership subscribers.

KFC Korea has about 750 employees, and has been conducting year-round performance management such as goal setting, progress management, and evaluation based on Excel. However, as the operational work increased, they wanted to introduce a digital performance management system that can support linkage with the internal HR system and customization of the evaluation system according to the existing evaluation form. Accordingly, they chose DeWail's 'Clap', and linked the existing groupware and organizational chart, etc. personnel data to digitize the evaluation system and greatly increase efficiency.

A KFC Korea representative said, “We wanted to digitally transform our internal evaluation system, and we reviewed the introduction of SaaS rather than developing our own tools considering time and cost efficiency.” He continued, “CLAP enabled continuous performance management through KPI establishment and management, quarterly 1on1 checkups, and easily implemented a process that could be operated in conjunction with the annual personnel evaluation.” He added that CLAP actively supports customizing the evaluation system and linking it with existing systems, making it a better choice than other SaaS solutions.

'Clap' provides various HR functions such as goal setting, management, and result evaluation in a modular manner, and can be customized to meet the needs of the client company. In addition, it can easily link existing data used by the client company through various OPEN APIs, and it manages HR data with reasonable costs, dedicated customer service management (CSM) support, integrated education with Clap Academy, periodic updates at least once a month, and the highest level of security. Due to these services, the introduction of Clap by mid-sized and large companies is increasing.

Dewey’s CEO, Koo Ja-wook, said, “Existing HR SaaS had limitations in reflecting a company’s unique culture and functions,” and added, “CLAP provides a variety of modular solutions that fit the needs of each company, making it suitable for companies in various industries considering introducing a performance management system.”
