LaonSecure announced on the 20th that it signed a business agreement for the digital ID construction project with Hana Bank and Kwangwoon University at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.

Under this agreement, LaonSecure and Hana Bank will provide LaonSecure's digital platform, 'OmniOne KYPL Platform', to issue mobile ID student ID cards to Kwangwoon University and link it with Hana Bank's financial services to promote innovation in digital identity authentication on campus.

The 'Omni One KYPL Platform' is a platform that provides various functions such as issuing mobile ID student IDs, personal information protection, and consent procedures through partnerships with universities and financial institutions. The mobile ID student ID introduced to Kwangwoon University through this platform will make various campus life more convenient for students, such as accessing academic systems, reserving and entering campus facilities, and voting in student council elections. In addition, the level of security such as personal information protection and identity theft prevention will be strengthened. Financial services such as non-face-to-face student ID check card issuance will also be provided through linkage with Hana Bank's 'Hana One Q App'.

This agreement will also contribute to streamlining the approach to the academic administration system to increase the efficiency of university administration and learning. In addition, through partnerships with local communities and companies, it is planned to expand connections with external services such as providing discounts and promotions based on the 'Omni One Digital ID' and linking with employment support systems.

'OmniOne Digital ID' is a blockchain-based identity and qualification authentication integrated platform that supports various organizations such as universities, public institutions, and companies to issue digital certificates. This platform can be used for various purposes such as student IDs, employee IDs, and graduation certificates, and is provided in the form of software as a service (SaaS).

Laon Secure is expanding its partnership with 'Omni One Digital ID' and expanding its presence in the credential issuance market as well as digital identity authentication. Last year, it opened 'Omni One Digital ID' for the ISIC international student ID issuance service.

Park Jong-moon, head of Laon Secure’s service business division, said, “Through our collaboration with Hana Bank, we have been able to enhance the convenience of identity authentication and academic system access for Kwangwoon University students and faculty,” and “We will continue to collaborate with Hana Bank to spread digital innovation within university campuses through various services such as ‘OmniOne Digital ID,’ ‘OmniOne Badge,’ and ‘Laon Metademi.’”
