'K-Food Star Discovery Placement Program IR DEMODAY', co-hosted by Star Asset Partners Co., Ltd. and Y&Archer Co., Ltd., was held on February 18, 2024.
At this event, attended by around 80 F&B industry professionals and investors, 11 promising F&B companies selected through the 'K-Food Star' discovery and placement program had a networking session while conducting IR pitching and evaluation.
A total of 11 companies participated, including ▲Lee Kyu Food Co., Ltd. (Jeong Nam-ok), ▲H2 Nutrition Co., Ltd. (Pro Tip Zero), ▲Fran Muse Co., Ltd. (Fran Muse), ▲Starlight and Cactus Co., Ltd. (Four Seasons Kitchen), ▲Nabaya (Nabaya Donkatsu), ▲What You Need Co., Ltd. (Semoae), ▲Picorico Co., Ltd. (Picorico), ▲Seoul Gopchang Co., Ltd. (Seoul Gopchang), ▲Bean Space Co., Ltd. (Bean Space), ▲C&W Co., Ltd. (Vivid), and ▲The Naeum Corporation Co., Ltd. (With Pick).
The 'K-Food Star' discovery and placement program is an all-in-one program for prospective and early-stage F&B entrepreneurs, and intensive training, 1:1 expert mentoring, and mock IR were conducted from December 2023 to mid-February 2024. A total of 19 companies participated in the program, and 11 companies that were selected in the second round participated in this demo day, and direct investments will be made to the companies that are finally selected through the evaluation.
Star Asset Partners CEO Lee Hee-seong said, “We are delighted to be able to showcase the next generation of star companies that will lead innovation in the domestic F&B industry through this Demo Day,” and added, “We plan to support the selected companies by providing investment and follow-up support so that they can become competitive in the global market.”
This program is expected to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the Korean F&B industry and promoting its global expansion by discovering and fostering startups with innovative items and technologies that will lead new trends in the F&B industry.
