
On February 13, Jeju International Free City Development Center (Executive Auditor Kwon Taek-yong, hereinafter JDC) signed a business agreement with the Korea Tourism Organization (Executive Auditor Kim Young-chang, hereinafter Tourism Organization) to strengthen auditing capabilities and improve transparency.
The purpose of this business agreement is to contribute to strengthening internal audit capabilities through mutual business exchanges on the auditing expertise and special strengths of both organizations. The main areas of cooperation include: ▲ Conducting joint audits or cross-audits through mutual dispatch of auditors; ▲ Cooperating in exchanging audit information and utilizing auditing techniques and best practices; ▲ Mutual exchange and cooperation to strengthen internal control, prevent corruption, and improve integrity; ▲ Forming and exchanging human networks such as hosting joint seminars, jointly operating educational programs, and consulting on audit quality.
JDC expects that by establishing an audit cooperation system with the Korea Tourism Organization, it will seek mutual development by improving audit capabilities and strengthening internal control, thereby contributing to improved audit performance and management performance.
JDC Executive Auditor Kwon Taek-yong said, “In the future, the two organizations will work to secure audit expertise and fairness by activating the exchange of audit personnel through joint audits and sharing audit techniques and best practices, and the two organizations will further increase efficiency by cooperatively carrying out internal control strengthening and corruption prevention activities.”
