Asan Nanum Foundation announced on the 20th that it signed a business agreement with work and lifestyle furniture brand ‘Desker’ to improve the startup office environment.
According to this agreement, Asan Nanum Foundation and Desker will provide office environment support to companies that have moved into or graduated from 'MARU', an entrepreneurship platform and startup incubator operated by the foundation, and alumni companies of Asan Nanum Foundation programs.
As the first step of the agreement, Asan Nanum Foundation will jointly operate the 'Office Change Program' provided by Desker to support the work environment of startups in the early stages of their business. Up to six teams will be selected annually from among Maru graduates to design office spaces and provide Desker office furniture free of charge.
In addition, 50 free passes to the 'Desk Lounge Hongdae' and a 20% discount on reservations will be provided to employees of companies that have moved in or graduated from Maru, to support startup workers to utilize a variety of work spaces. Alumni startups that participate in the Asan Nanum Foundation program will also be provided with a Desk monitor stand.
Cheon Seong-woo, head of the startup team at Asan Nanum Foundation, said, “This agreement is very meaningful as it allows us to provide comfortable office space to startups that have passed through Maru,” and added, “We will continue to discover various startup support models to develop the startup ecosystem.”
