Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Hae-Jeong Lee, hereinafter referred to as Gangwon Innovation Center) announced that it was selected as the main organization for the '2025 Strong Small Business Growth Support Project (Online Seller Type)' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Business Market Promotion Agency .
The Strong Small Business Growth Support Project (Online Seller Type) is a project that discovers small business owners with entrepreneurial and craftsmanship spirit, creativity and innovative items, and supports them in establishing and expanding online sales channels.
This project will select 250 domestic and 70 foreign small business owners, and provide support through education at e-commerce platform companies (Naver, Kakao, Amazon, etc.) and specialized programs unique to the Gangwon Innovation Center.
Since its opening in 2015, Gangwon Innovation Center has established itself as a representative venture builder and public accelerator in the Gangwon region, and has been driving the growth of innovative entrepreneurs by operating a specialized corporate incubation system that covers everything from initial startups to scale-up and investment.
In addition, starting with the 'Creative Expedition' in 2015, we have been actively supporting the discovery of approximately 330 local creators in Gangwon-do Province and their growth into corporate small business owners by hosting 'New Business Startup Officer School', 'Local Creator Fostering Project', and 'Customized Support Project for Local Venture Enterprises by Growth Stage'.
With the selection as the main organization for this 'Strong Small Business Growth Support Project', Gangwon Innovation Center will play a key role in establishing the 'Entrepreneur-type Small Business Fostering System' of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Through this, we plan to discover Lycon companies that can expand beyond the Gangwon region to the entire country and provide related support.
