
The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy), as the main organization for the 2025 preliminary and early-stage startup package project, announced on the 17th that it will recruit preliminary entrepreneurs and early-stage startups (within 3 years of establishment) for approximately 3 weeks.
The Preliminary Startup Package and Early Startup Package are support projects that provide commercialization funds and specialized programs to promising pre-startup entrepreneurs and early-stage startups (within 3 years of establishment) with innovative technologies. Applications for the Preliminary Startup Package are being accepted from Monday, February 17th until 16:00 on March 12th, and for the Early Startup Package, until 16:00 on March 11th on the online K-Startup website .
The preliminary startup package is expected to select around 780 people nationwide, and Busan Changgyeong plans to select around 28 preliminary entrepreneurs and provide an average of 50 million won in commercialization funds over the 8-month agreement period, as well as provide various specialized programs such as B.Startup IR Lounge, startup management simulation, and professional mentoring.
The early startup package is expected to select around 430 companies nationwide, and Busan Changgyeong plans to select around 23 early startups (within 3 years of establishment) and provide an average of 70 million won (maximum 100 million won) in commercialization funds over the 9-month agreement period and provide various specialized programs such as Win-win Open Innovation, Global Network Bridge, and Start Sprout Market.
Meanwhile, the '2025 Preliminary and Early Startup Package Business Briefing Session' will be held at 2 PM on February 24th in the 4th floor conference room of Busan Changgyeong, and participants are being recruited through Eventus. The business briefing session will explain the 2025 Preliminary Startup Package and Early Startup Package business guide and support methods. Afterwards, a dedicated manager and a consultation window for prospective entrepreneurs and early-stage startups will be operated to provide practical help to entrepreneurs who wish to participate in the startup package business. In addition, an online (Zoom) business briefing session will be held at 2 PM on the 25th for (prospective) entrepreneurs who have difficulty attending in person.
