S2W to Supply Industrial Generative AI Platform to Lotte Members

Big data analysis AI company S2W (S2W) announced on the 20th that it has supplied "SAIP (S2W AI Platform)," an industrial generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform, to Lotte Members. SAIP will serve as the foundational platform for "Segment Lab," Lotte Members' trend analysis AI service, which will be piloted for Lotte Group affiliates starting in the second quarter of this year.

Segment Lab, jointly developed by S2W and Lotte Innovation, is a generative AI agent that automates trend analysis and forecasting by combining consumption data from approximately 43 million members of Lotte Group's integrated membership program, L.POINT, with external news data. Built using differentiated domain-specific large-scale language modeling (LLM) technology, ontology-based knowledge graphs, and search, augmentation, and generation (RAG) capabilities, SAIP can generate customized insight reports, as well as reports on customer behavior, product sales, competitor analysis, and trends.

Additionally, SAIP features an "AI Chat" feature that minimizes hallucinations and provides accurate answers tailored to the user's intent and context. This provides in-depth data insights applicable to various business areas of Lotte Group affiliates, including product development and marketing strategy development. This is expected to significantly improve employee efficiency.

S2W also features "Security Guardrail," a defense system that enhances the stability and reliability of AI models. This advanced data protection technology, designated as an "Innovative Financial Service" by the Financial Services Commission, also meets the strict regulatory requirements of financial authorities.

Park Geun-tae, CTO of S2W, said, “The biggest feature of Segment Lab is that it can derive valuable business insights by organically linking structured and unstructured big data from inside and outside the company.” He added, “In the future, we will continue to contribute to the advancement of decision-making systems in private and public organizations based on AI and big data technologies.”
