WEFLO, a company specializing in future air mobility (AAM) solutions, announced that it will participate in the 'DSK 2025' (Drone Show Korea) exhibition held at BEXCO in Busan from February 26th to 28th.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, DSK is an exhibition showcasing the latest technologies and solutions in various fields such as drones, UAM, and air mobility, and is held with 300 companies and 1,120 booths. Weflow is jointly operating the 'K-Drone Delivery Hall' with the Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology (KIAST) and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) and is promoting the 'K-Drone Delivery Commercialization Project' to expand commercial drone delivery services.
This exhibition will introduce drone delivery infrastructure through the installation of the Drone Identification Management System (K-DRIMS) and situation rooms and landing pads in delivery bases, and promote the performance of the K-Drone Delivery business. In addition, various programs such as virtual reality (VR) simulator experience, new unmanned vertical takeoff and landing aircraft exhibition, and drone inspection pad demonstration are prepared. The Aviation Safety Technology Institute will introduce drone verification projects and traffic management R&D projects, and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority will present safety management measures through the Drone Identification Management System, a drone flight approval and real-time monitoring system.
Last year, Weplo participated in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's 'Drone Test City Construction Project' and built drone delivery centers in 130 locations nationwide. In this exhibition, a demonstration will be held to check the status of drones without contact using a drone inspection pad equipped with a multi-modal sensor.
In addition, Whiplo's COO, Ko Jeong-wan, will present on the topic of 'AI-based Future Air Mobility (AAM) Industry Trends and AI Technology Utilization' at the conference on the 27th. He plans to analyze the rapid growth of the AAM industry and the impact of AI-based inspection technology and present a vision for the future.
“It is meaningful to showcase our drone inspection technology and solutions at this DSK 2025 exhibition,” said Whiplo CEO Kim Eui-jung. “We will continue to work to ensure that Whiplo’s automatic inspection solutions can play a significant role in the safety and growth of the drone delivery industry.”
