Naver Signs Business Agreement with Ministry of Employment and Labor

Naver Corporation and the Ministry of Employment and Labor are cooperating to support the reemployment of middle-aged and older IT workers and to establish a virtuous social cycle. On the 18th, the two sides signed an agreement to operate a customized reemployment support program for the IT industry at Naver Green Factory in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials including Naver Education Center Director Gonggijung and Vice Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Min-seok.

Under this agreement, Naver will develop a re-employment support program for middle-aged and older IT workers so that they can continue to demonstrate their capabilities even after retirement, and will design customized training courses using its own online and offline education platforms. Naver expressed its expectations for creating the first case of preparing for a super-aging society through public-private cooperation, securing excellent human resources, and reducing social costs to create a virtuous cycle.

In addition, Naver and the Ministry of Employment and Labor plan to continue to cooperate to expand this cooperation throughout the Internet platform industry and establish it as an exemplary collaboration model.
