Korea Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Technology, Participation in KSGE 2025 Exhibition

Korea Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Technology (KEVIT) recently participated in the KSGE 2025 exhibition and showcased its latest charging technology. At this exhibition, KEVIT unveiled various technologies focusing on research and demonstration cases of next-generation charging technology, and conveyed its efforts and vision for advancing charging technology.

In particular, KEVIT disclosed key charging technology demonstration cases, such as PnC (Plug and Charge) charging demonstration based on ISO15118, SMART EV DR (Smart EV Charging Demand Response) through smart-controlled slow chargers, and V2X (Vehicle-to-Network Communication) standardization research in the OCA Working Group. Through this, KEVIT presented the current status and vision of the next-generation electric vehicle charging technology.

In addition, KEVIT attracted great attention from visitors and industry insiders by deploying a smart control slow charger equipped with a PLC (Power Line Communication) modem that meets the 2025 Ministry of Environment requirements. This smart control charger can provide stable charging by utilizing the vehicle’s SoC (State-based Charging) information, and can also provide efficient charging services by linking with the power grid situation.

KEVIT CEO Oh Se-young said, “The advancement of electric vehicle charging technology must be based on safety, with added convenience and efficiency,” and announced that this will be achieved through the spread of smart-control chargers.
