XL8 signs partnership with Streaming Korea

XL8, an AI-based translation and subtitling solution company, announced that it has signed a partnership with Streaming Korea, an online live streaming specialist, and will fully promote the expansion of its AI real-time translation and subtitling solution 'EventCAT' into the domestic live streaming market.

XL8's 'EventCat' is an AI real-time translation subtitle solution that supports 42 languages, and is used in various environments such as online meetings, lectures, and broadcasting. This solution has established itself as a trusted solution by providing real-time translation subtitles at global events such as AI SEOUL 2025, Climate Industry International Expo, Seoul Investor Forum, SK AI SUMMIT, and Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.

Streaming Korea is a company that carries out live streaming projects, and provides various live streaming services such as YouTube, Metaverse, and non-face-to-face two-way live streaming. Through this collaboration, Event Cat's 42-language real-time translation subtitle technology and Streaming Korea's high-quality live streaming service are combined, and multilingual communication is expected to become smoother in the domestic live streaming environment.

In particular, we plan to further strengthen the provision of total services for hybrid event operation that combines online and offline, so that domestic companies and organizations can conduct global events more smoothly and effectively. Through this, the utilization of real-time multilingual subtitle services is expected to expand in various domestic and international events, public and educational institutions, broadcasters, and online streaming platforms.

“Our collaboration with Streaming Korea will be a significant turning point in expanding the potential of AI-based translation technology in the domestic event and online broadcasting markets,” said Younghoon Jeong, CEO of XL8. “We will actively support more customers to communicate smoothly without language barriers through EventCat.”
