Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center, Recruiting Local Creators in Yeongnam Region

Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Moonrak Lee) is recruiting individual and collaborative team participants for the '2025 Local Creator Development Project' until the 27th.

The 'Local Creator Development Project' is being promoted jointly by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Business Market Promotion Agency, and is being promoted by six Creative Economy Innovation Centers across the country (Gyeongbuk, Seoul, Gangwon, Sejong, Jeonnam, and Jeju). Among them, the Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center is in charge of the Yeongnam region (Gyeongbuk, Daegu, Gyeongnam, Busan, and Ulsan).

'Local Creator' refers to an entrepreneur who creates business value by combining the natural and cultural characteristics of the region with ideas. It has been promoted since 2020 to expand entrepreneurship opportunities for local youth and revitalize the local economy.

This support project recruitment is divided into two tracks: individual and collaboration. Any small business owner who can issue a small business owner certificate based on Yeongnam region resources can apply, and one company alone or two or more companies can apply as a team.

If you are utilizing resources in the Yeongnam region, you can apply by selecting the Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center as the main organization. Selected companies will be provided with ▲up to 40 million won in individual track and ▲up to 70 million won in collaborative track commercialization funds.

Detailed information, including recruitment notices, can be found on the Gyeongbuk Center website or the Small Business 24 website. For business inquiries, contact the Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center Regional Startup Team (phone number 054) 470-2680.

The Gyeongbuk Center also holds a business briefing session to help small business owners apply for business more smoothly. ▲The third briefing session will be held on February 21 at 2 PM via the ZOOM platform, and advance applications can be made through the Gyeongbuk Center website.

Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center Director Lee Moon-rak said, “Through this project, hidden local businesses are being discovered and growing.” He added, “I hope to receive a lot of support from small business owners in the Yeongnam region who wish to vitalize the local economy and grow into entrepreneurial small business owners.”
