Emerson Korea (CEO Jae-seong Jung), a global technology and software company, will participate in 'InterBattery 2025', Korea's largest secondary battery industry exhibition, held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from March 5 to 7.
Emerson Korea will present automation solutions that innovate the entire battery value chain by improving productivity and safety through process operation optimization based on the ‘Boundless AutomationSM’ architecture at this exhibition. It will showcase a differentiated technology and product portfolio that can maximize productivity, safety, and efficiency from the design, execution, operation, and maintenance of the battery production process.
Emerson's new automation architecture, 'Infinite Automation', supports battery value chain optimization by expanding precise and intelligent field devices and process control and monitoring, thereby increasing process performance and flexibility. It can also contribute to improving productivity and operational efficiency of battery manufacturing processes, such as building a safe and optimized operating environment and maximizing core asset performance with a digitalized asset management system.
Emerson's solutions to solve the battery industry's key challenges are divided into three key sessions. The 'Intelligent Field Devices' section presents precise and smart measurement and valve solutions for a safe process environment, process optimization, and performance improvement. The 'Integrated Process Operation Supervision and Control, Asset Management' section presents sustainable operation strategies through digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and consistency of precursor production, and maximize the performance of process core assets. Finally, the 'Fast Cycling and High-Precision Ultrasonic Metal Welders' section presents ultrasonic welders that can increase productivity while ensuring welding performance in the final stage of cell manufacturing.
At the booth set up in the exhibition hall, you can intensively examine the optimal products and technologies that increase productivity, safety, and reliability throughout the process, such as ▲flame and gas detectors and measuring devices ▲DeltaV™ DCS (distributed control system) ▲industrial software for precursor production processes ▲asset management solutions for ensuring reliability ▲measuring equipment for the GMX-Micro ultrasonic spot welder process.
Jae-Sung Jeong, CEO of Emerson Korea, emphasized, “This exhibition is a meaningful opportunity to showcase Emerson’s latest automation solutions that maximize productivity and efficiency across the battery industry and support a sustainable future through digital innovation.” He also added, “It will be an opportunity to examine Emerson’s differentiated technologies and vision for innovating the battery value chain in response to the changing secondary battery industry environment.”
