Embass Attracts Seed Investment

Embas , a developer of an AI-based automated app creation platform, announced that it successfully completed seed investment from accelerator Heim Venture Investment in February 2025 in recognition of its AI technology. The investment amount and terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2021, Embas operates a platform called 'AiApp' that automatically generates optimized applications according to the needs of businesses. This platform provides an AI-based automatic app generation service that minimizes complex development processes and allows anyone to easily create mobile and web applications. In particular, it is characterized by automatically generating customized applications according to the needs of users through technologies utilizing RAG (Research Augmentation Generation) and LLM (Large Language Model).

With this investment, Embas plans to advance AI models, improve user experience, and expand into the global market. Since its establishment, Embas has been recognized for its technological excellence and has achieved results such as being selected for the Korea Institute of Startups and Entrepreneurship Development’s preliminary startup package, being selected as the best business operator for the preliminary startup package, being selected for the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund’s “Little Penguin Program,” and being selected as an early-stage startup package operator, and is taking the elite course of startups. In particular, ‘AiApp’ is an innovative solution that can significantly reduce costs and time compared to existing development methods, and is attracting attention for its high usability in various industries.

Embas CEO Kim Jeong-hyeon stated, “Through this investment, we will secure competitiveness in the global AI-based app development market,” and “We will support companies to build IT services more efficiently through an automated development environment.” He also announced plans to attract follow-up investment through full-scale advancement and scale-up this year.

Meanwhile, Heim Venture Investment, which executed this investment, highly evaluated Embas’s unique technological prowess and market growth potential and made the investment. A Heim Venture Investment official said, “Embas possesses a differentiated technological prowess in automatic app creation using AI, and we expect rapid growth and global expansion through this investment,” and announced plans to actively support Embas’ scale-up.

Park Dae-seong, CEO of Haim Venture Investment, who conducted this investment attraction, is an expert with diverse experience in the financial sector, including IB and PE, and has experience managing a total of 32 billion won in venture investment based on his experience in scaling up and attracting investment for three startups. Haim Venture Investment is currently focusing on investing in deep tech and platform companies through a blind fund of about 2 billion won and its own investments, and is in the process of forming an additional fund of about 2 billion won to expand investment in technology-based startups by 2025.

Based on this investment, Embas plans to accelerate its entry into overseas markets as well as the domestic market, and additionally develop more sophisticated corporate-tailored solutions and expand partnerships to accelerate the establishment of an AI-based development ecosystem.
