
DayOne Company, an adult education content company, announced on the 17th that it has decided to operate the Seoul edition of the 'Global Hackathon' in cooperation with voice artificial intelligence (AI) startup Eleven Labs.
Eleven Labs is a British AI voice technology company valued at approximately $3.3 billion (approximately KRW 4.81 trillion). It mainly develops AI voice models that naturally express emotions and intonations, and recently launched a conversational AI agent platform. Through this, Eleven Labs is recognized for its global competitiveness in the field of AI voice technology.
This 'Global Hackathon' is hosted by Eleven Labs and will be held simultaneously in 9 cities including Seoul, London, New York, San Francisco, Warsaw, Bangalore, Sydney, Taiwan, and Miami. The Seoul event will be held on the 22nd at Fast Campus in Gangnam-gu.
The core theme of the competition is 'AI Agent Development', and participants can freely utilize the latest AI technology in the process of planning and implementing their own AI agent. Various AI tools, including Eleven Labs' AI voice synthesis technology, will be provided, and it is expected that this will lead to the creation of innovative AI products and services.
Through this hackathon, DayOne Company will support domestic AI talents to advance to the global stage and will also participate in the final project evaluation. The evaluation will be conducted by domestic and international AI and tech experts, including Seungmin Kim, Head of Planning Group 1 at Fast Campus, and Sangwon Hong, General Manager of Eleven Labs Korea, who will comprehensively evaluate creativity and practicality.
Starting with this hackathon, DayOne Company plans to expand the scope of cooperation with Eleven Labs, including the production of official AI lectures. In addition, differentiated benefits will be provided to the winners, and the team with the highest score among the participants from 9 cities around the world will be awarded ▲Teenage Engineering TP-7, and the 1st to 3rd place teams from each city will be awarded hardware products from Apple and Bose (different by region).
