EU Business Hub to Host 'Healthcare/Medical Device Korea 2025'

The 'Healthcare and Medical Equipment Korea 2025' exhibition and consultation, held as part of the EU Business Hub program, will be held for three days from March 19 to 21 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas.

The business exhibition held at the Orchid Room will feature up to 50 promising European SMEs and startups presenting cutting-edge healthcare and medical device solutions in a variety of fields including assistive technology, medical devices, healthcare ICT and AI, remote health monitoring and diagnosis, nanotechnology, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering.

The EU Business Hub provides Korean companies with an opportunity to explore products, services, and technologies from European companies and discuss collaboration possibilities through one-on-one business meetings. Meetings with interested companies can be scheduled on the EU Business Hub website. Professional interpretation services are also provided to facilitate smooth communication during business meetings.

On the afternoon of March 19, a 'Business Networking Reception' hosted by the EU Delegation to Korea will be held in the Chrysanthemum Room. It is expected to be an opportunity for European and Korean companies to exchange and share diverse opinions on technological innovation in a comfortable atmosphere. Key domestic businesspeople will also be invited.

On March 20, European companies will visit the 40th Korea International Medical Device & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2025) held at COEX in Seoul to examine the latest medical technologies and products of participating companies and explore possibilities for cooperation with domestic companies.

The EU Business Hub is planned to support European companies to meet a wider range of Korean companies and provide Korean companies with an opportunity to expand their global network.

“European companies participating in this business mission to Seoul will showcase their technological prowess and innovation in the healthcare and medical device sectors,” said Tanith Bello, Programme Officer at the EU Delegation to Korea. “We hope that the B2B matching through ‘Healthcare∙Medical Devices Korea 2025,’ which aims to provide exchange opportunities between domestic companies and European SMEs and startups, will develop into practical business cooperation.”

Domestic companies and organizations that wish to participate in Healthcare/Medical Device Korea 2025 can register on the EU Business Hub Korea website regardless of size and then apply for a 1:1 meeting with interested European companies.
