
The Radio Promotion Association of Korea (RAPA) announced that it is recruiting the 9th class of 'AWS Cloud School' students in cooperation with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Korea. This training course is part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's K-Digital Training 'Digital Leading Company Academy' project, and aims to foster experts in the field of cloud computing.
'AWS Cloud School' is for job seekers and those looking to change jobs, and the training will last for a total of 1,050 hours until September 4, 2025. Classes are taught by expert instructors from the AWS Training & Certification team, and cover a variety of cloud technologies, from Linux and network basics to the latest cloud technologies such as Kubernetes and DevOps. In addition, trainees will be provided with opportunities to experience AWS cloud services and AWS Skill Builder subscriptions, and full support for exam fees for obtaining AWS official certifications will be provided.
To enhance practical capabilities, project mentoring by AWS current solution architects and professional training by AWS certified instructors are also included. Trainees are also expected to greatly improve their practical capabilities by participating in workshops where they can experience AWS’s innovative corporate culture.
'AWS Cloud School' has produced 208 students through the last 8 classes, and many of the graduates have found employment at major domestic companies such as Samsung Electronics, KT, LG Uplus, and Hyundai Autoever, as well as AWS partner companies. In particular, three graduates have found employment at AWS Korea, AWS Canada, and AWS Ireland, continuing their overseas employment success.
An AWS official said, “It is meaningful to participate in nurturing digital talent in Korea through AWS Cloud School,” and “We hope that this training course will help students successfully start their careers and help the country enhance its competitiveness for digital transformation.”
An official from the Korea Radio Promotion Association emphasized, “AWS Cloud School provides students with an opportunity to acquire practical skills required in the field of cloud computing, and the talents produced through this education will grow into key experts who will lead the domestic and international cloud markets.”
