BROADMEDI announced on the 13th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Cashtree, a leading mobile data platform in Indonesia, to build a network and establish a promotional base to attract Indonesian medical tourists. This agreement was pursued for the purpose of responding to the rapidly increasing demand for medical tourism in Indonesia and actively promoting Korea’s excellent medical services. BROADMEDI plans to effectively promote medical tourism services by utilizing Cashtree’s digital marketing capabilities and maximize synergy with the mobile platform.
Broadmedi is a platform company that innovates existing medical tourism services, and in cooperation with Korea’s top medical institutions, it provides various customized concierge services such as medical and tourism product information, 1:1 coordinator matching, real-time medical consultation, and visa issuance support. Through this agreement, it plans to increase brand awareness in Indonesia and further strengthen its position in the Southeast Asian medical tourism market.
In particular, interest in Korean medical services is rapidly increasing due to the spread of the Korean Wave, including K-POP, K-Drama, and K-Beauty. Cutting-edge medical technologies related to beauty, such as plastic surgery and dermatology, are gaining popularity in Southeast Asia, and the number of tourists seeking Korean medical services in Indonesia is also steadily increasing. Accordingly, Broadmedi plans to increase awareness of Korean medical services through marketing strategies linked to Korean Wave content, and to promote various medical tourism product planning and promotional activities.
A Broadmedi official said, “We launched a web-based platform to innovate the inconveniences of the existing medical tourism market and provide more systematic and reliable medical tourism services,” adding, “We will focus on widely publicizing the excellence of Korean medical services and providing differentiated experiences to global medical tourists.”
