my:D, a company specializing in MyData transaction platforms, and weinc, a corporate culture welfare platform, signed a business partnership agreement (MOU) for mutual cooperation on January 22. Through this agreement, the two companies set a new challenge by setting common goals of expanding membership, increasing sales, and leaping to a nationwide platform.
This MOU has a meaning beyond simple cooperation. It is because by combining MyData’s MyData transaction platform and Wink’s corporate welfare mall, a new data-based consumption experience can be created.
An SNP Lab official said, “This agreement is not a simple partnership between platforms, but an important step toward maximizing the value of data utilization and providing real benefits to users,” adding, “We will actively support MyDi users so that they can enjoy a wider range of benefits by utilizing reward points.”
Wink also did not hide its anticipation for this collaboration. Wink’s CEO Park Sang-hyun said, “We expect this to be an opportunity to further activate the MyDi Members Mall with differentiated benefits for MyDi users,” and “We will create a smart consumption culture for MyData users and provide various benefits and customized services.”
As the first step of this MOU, an interactive commerce members mall will be built that links MyDi's MyData transaction platform and Wink's corporate welfare mall. Through this, MyDi users can share their data and use the reward points they earn to receive discounts at Wink's members mall. This is an important first step toward allowing consumers to experience the real value of utilizing data.
The industry expects that this collaboration will bring a breath of fresh air to the MyData-based commerce and corporate welfare markets. This is because by linking the data utilization and compensation systems, which are core elements of the data economy, with actual shopping and welfare systems, a model can be built that provides more realistic benefits to users.
With this MOU, attention is focused on what kind of synergy MyDi and Wink will create and grow in the future. SNP Lab and Wink plan to provide innovative user-centered services through continuous cooperation in joint promotions and marketing.
