Dassault Systèmes announced on the 12th that it signed a C&SI (Consulting & Service Integration) partnership with P&P Advisory, a specialized consulting firm for product lifecycle management (PLM), at the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE Executive Seoul Center.
Through this partnership, the two companies have been cooperating in the R&D and product data management sectors, focusing on manufacturing, and will now expand their business areas to new industries. Dassault Systèmes’ virtual twin-based product lifecycle management solution, model-based system engineering, smart manufacturing, and smart city solutions, and P&P Advisory’s PLM (product lifecycle management) and reference information management system consulting capabilities are expected to maximize synergy effects.
The two companies plan to support technological innovation by combining consulting and solutions for product life cycle management and standard information management system construction in the manufacturing industry such as automobiles, defense, shipbuilding, and electronics. Dassault Systèmes will provide a virtual twin solution based on the 3D Experience platform, and P&P Advisory will support the establishment of digital transformation strategies and system construction, accelerating the digital transformation of customers.
“This is an era where all processes, including product development, simulation, manufacturing, and marketing, must be managed in an integrated manner,” said Woon-Sung Jeong, CEO of Dassault Systèmes Korea. “We will work to optimize the manufacturing industry’s production processes and increase efficiency through P&P Advisory’s consulting capabilities and our 3DEXPERIENCE platform.”
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Dassault Systèmes, a global software leader,” said Youngjin Yoo, CEO of P&P Advisory. “P&P Advisory will contribute to expanding the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) system based on our expertise in modular design consulting, especially in the H/W and S/W fields, to help domestic manufacturers respond to the rapidly changing environment.”
