SPLAP signs supply contract with Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry for 'Umo'

Splapp announced on the 12th that it has signed a contract with the Digital Academy of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support an online networking environment where participants of the mentoring project 'Team-Mate Mentor-Mentee Group' can develop together. According to this contract, Splapp's all-in-one networking solution, 'umoh', will be provided.

The 'Teammate' project is being carried out by the 'Advanced Industry/Digital Leading Company Academy' of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and is a program for fostering talent in new technology fields such as AI and cloud. The academy is a public-private cooperative software talent training project operated in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and leading companies, and various leading companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, and POSCO are participating. Teammate is a program in which academy graduates are selected as mentors and trainees as mentees to exchange employment capabilities with each other. The first activity began in July 2024, and the second activity is currently in progress.

Splapp's 'Umo' is a networking solution that can be used in various events, from business exhibitions to small and medium-sized gatherings. The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry supports the communication environment of the Teammate Mentor-Mentee Group through 'Umo' and provides 'Umo Lounge', which consists of pages for each group such as 'TEAM-MATE 1st Group', 'TEAM-MATE 2nd Group', and detailed pages such as 'One-Team Day' that manages all groups in one place. Participants can access the lounge through the URL received by email, introduce themselves with a simple hashtag, and communicate with other participants. Through the 'Business Matching' function, they can propose a meeting at a specified time or continue interaction through conversations with other participants.

The KDT business manager of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry said, “We are preparing various events to supplement the communication problems of the first period through Umo and to ensure smooth communication among participants.” In addition, the operator evaluated that efficiency has been greatly improved as it can manage participants through Umo and deliver notices through an integrated channel.

Seon Min-seung, CEO of Slap, said, “Through Umo, mentors and mentees can communicate freely without being restricted by time and space, and I hope that it will provide practical help related to starting a business.” He added, “We will continue to activate business exchanges in various fields and continue to carry out successful projects through efficient management and support.”
