MyHerb Signs Business Agreement with Korea AstraZeneca and Korea Tuberculosis Association

Medical AI solution company MyHerb (CEO Yang Hyeok) announced that it held the launch ceremony for the 'Lung Health Checkup Bus Campaign' with AstraZeneca Korea and the Korean Tuberculosis Association at COEX Dongmun Square in Seoul on June 27 and signed a three-party business agreement (MOU) for joint promotion of the campaign.

This campaign aims to promote early detection of major lung diseases such as lung cancer and tuberculosis and raise public health awareness by operating mobile screening buses equipped with AI-based chest X-ray screening equipment nationwide.

On the day of the launching ceremony, a total of 416 people, including those who made reservations in advance and those who applied on-site, visited the 'Lung Health Checkup Bus' at COEX Dongmun Square to experience the AI-based lung health analysis service and check the status of their lung health by receiving reports analyzed by AI.

At the event, Senior Secretary attended and read a congratulatory address on behalf of People Power Party lawmaker Seo Myung-ok, a member of the National Assembly Health and Welfare Committee. Jo Jeong-il, Chairman of the Korean Lung Cancer Patients Association, also attended and shared opinions with attendees about the need for early screening.

The three organizations signed a business agreement on this day, promising to cooperate in technology, resources, and publicity for the successful operation of the campaign. This MOU is evaluated as the starting point of a long-term partnership for the establishment of a nationwide early screening system and the development of a sustainable lung health campaign.

“The true value of digital healthcare is realized when AI technology is utilized in a way that provides real help to patients’ lives,” said Yang Hyeok, CEO of MyHerb. “This campaign is a meaningful example of public-private cooperation to create an early screening environment that is accessible to everyone.”

He added, “We will continue to contribute to the early detection and prevention of major lung diseases such as lung cancer and tuberculosis through AI-based image interpretation solutions, and we will work with various organizations to improve health equity.”
