Tripvitoz Signs Strategic Partnership with Archipalago Group

Global travel platform Tripbtoz has signed a strategic partnership with Archipelago Group, an Indonesian hotel operator, to expand into the Southeast Asian market. Through this agreement, Tripbtoz plans to supply over 200 hotels owned by Archipelago Group to the platform, strengthening its position in the Southeast Asian market.

Archipalago Group operates various brands including ASTON, HARPER, and favehotels, and has built a strong hotel network in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. Through this partnership, Tripvitoz will secure a large number of premium and economy accommodation options in major Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.

In particular, the combination of Tripvitoz’s video-based travel platform and Archipalago Group’s local hotel operation know-how is expected to provide consumers with a more differentiated accommodation experience. Tripvitoz users will be able to have a more reliable reservation experience through vivid video reviews containing the actual appearance of local hotels.

This partnership is significant in that it is a strategic collaboration that goes beyond a simple hotel supply contract and simultaneously targets the B2B and B2C markets. In addition to the existing hotel reservation service for B2C travelers, Tripbtoz plans to expand its B2B hotel reservation solution (TPS, Tripbtoz Partner Solution) for corporate and group customers. This will effectively respond to accommodation needs for corporate business trips, international events, conferences, etc.

Tripvitoz CEO Jeong Ji-ha said, “We are delighted to be working with the largest hotel group in Southeast Asia through this agreement. We will provide more competitive travel services in the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets,” and “We will continue to expand our global hotel partnerships to strengthen Tripvitoz’s global competitiveness.”

Chris Legaspi, Chief Commercial Officer of Archipalago Group, also expressed his anticipation for this collaboration. “Tripvitoz is an innovative travel platform that will be able to provide a new type of hotel booking experience to Southeast Asian customers,” he said. “Combining Archipalago Group’s vast hotel network with Tripvitoz’s differentiated digital marketing and technology capabilities will create significant growth opportunities for both companies.”

Tripvitoz plans to expand its hotel network to not only Southeast Asia but also the Middle East in the future and build differentiated competitiveness in the global OTA (online travel agency) market. Attention is focused on what kind of synergy this partnership will bring to Tripvitoz’s conquest of the Southeast Asian market.
