MPAGE, Post Tips Final Selection

MPAG (CEO Inseo Jeong), a global digital sheet music platform operator, announced that it has been selected for the 'Post-TIPS' support program hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (hereinafter referred to as MSS) .

PostTips is a program that selects startups with excellent research and development achievements among the graduates of TIPS, the representative public-private joint startup incubation program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and supports their entry into the global market. MPAGE was finally selected after a rigorous screening process and will receive up to 500 million won in government support over the next 18 months.

MPI operates the global digital sheet music platforms 'MyMusicSheet (Global)', 'Maeumman Eun Pianist (Korea)', and 'Kokoro and Musician (Kokomu, Japan)' that connect music creators and users around the world. The characteristic of these platforms is that music creators, composers, and musicians can directly sell sheet music of various genres, including the latest songs, OSTs, and their own compositions.

MPAG, which operates its own corporate research institute (MPAG Research Institute) and focuses on research and development of AI music technology, was selected for this year's PostTips in recognition of its unique research achievements in developing sheet music recognition technology and deep learning-based real-time pitch recognition technology.

MPI plans to focus on advancing AI technology that can precisely recognize the performance of various instruments, including the piano, in the future. In addition, in order to overcome the limitations of existing sound recognition AI technology that was vulnerable to detailed expressions of performance, we plan to develop a model that is highly accurate and can understand the characteristics of music data.

MPIAGE CEO Jeong In-seo said, “By being selected by PostTips, our company’s business and technological prowess have been recognized at the same time,” and “Through our AI technology, we will maximize the efficiency of platform users in the global digital sheet music market and provide new experiences and values.”

Meanwhile, MpAge provides new revenue opportunities to creators with the goal of ‘creating a service where everyone can enjoy music.’ The MpAge platform currently has over 10,000 global music creators and over 4 million members worldwide, and supports payments in 20 languages and over 50 local currencies.
