SAP Korea (CEO Shin Eun-young) and global business travel management company CWT Korea (CEO Kim Jung-hyun) signed a business agreement (MOU) for cooperation in corporate travel services and B2B market development. Shin Eun-young, CEO of SAP Korea, and Kim Jung-hyun, CEO of CWT Korea attended the MOU signing ceremony held at SAP Korea on the 10th and discussed future cooperation plans.
CWT Korea supports the entire corporate travel management including travel expenses, regulations, and safety based on a global network of over 140 countries around the world. In particular, according to the '2025 Travel and Expense Management Forecast (SAP Concur: 5 Travel and Expense Predictions for 2025)' report released by SAP on the 12th of last month, the Asia Pacific region is the fastest-growing region in the corporate travel market as of 2023, and the demand for transparency and compliance in travel management is increasing. Accordingly, as companies focus on strengthening compliance and optimizing travel management, this agreement is part of strategic cooperation to respond to such market changes.
Through this agreement, the two companies will support corporate customers to manage business trips more efficiently and experience simpler business trip processes based on the 'SAP Concur' solution for business trip and expense management. Specifically, they plan to support customers using the expense management service 'Concur Expense' to link business trip support services, and provide business trip process improvement consulting to customers of the business trip management service 'Concur Travel'. Through this, SAP Concur solution customers are expected to operate business trip management and expense processing processes more productively and systematically based on CWT Korea's expertise. In addition, CWT Korea plans to provide faster and more efficient services to corporate customers who want systematic corporate travel services as Concur's Korean TMC resell partner through the global Concur partnership.
In addition, various events and promotions for customers have been prepared in conjunction with this agreement. In March, a seminar will be held for SAP Concur customers together with CWT Korea, and the benefits and services that will be provided to customers through the collaboration between the two companies will be introduced.
Shin Eun-young, CEO of SAP Korea, said, “We signed this agreement to help SAP Concur customers efficiently manage their business travel,” adding, “SAP Concur will continue to support companies to simplify their business travel processes by automating corporate expense management, business travel, and AP processes through collaboration with domestic and international partners and linking them with other financial systems.”
Kim Jung-hyun, CEO of CWT Korea, said, “CWT Korea supports cost reduction by providing customized reports for companies based on real-time business trip data integration and analysis, while helping companies efficiently comply with business trip regulations through a simple IT platform.” He added, “The key background for this collaboration is that we can create synergy by adding SAP Korea’s expertise to these strengths. Based on this solid partnership, we will support innovative business trip services that suit the characteristics of companies while allowing companies to comprehensively manage business trip planning and expense management in one place.”
