
Team Naver is joining hands with domestic startups to expand the Saudi Arabian digital ecosystem. Following the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX) and Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water), this broader partnership is expected to solidify Team Naver’s global business foundation.
Naver Cloud (CEO Kim Yu-won) signed an MOU with startups participating in 'LEAP 2025' at the 'LEAP 2025' event held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on the 10th (local time) with the purpose of 'information exchange and business cooperation between domestic digital companies for entry into the Saudi digital market'.
This MOU was attended by Naver External/ESG Policy Director Chae Seon-ju, Naver Cloud CEO Kim Yu-won, Naver Labs CEO Seok Sang-ok, Korea Internet & Security Agency President Lee Sang-joong, Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Saudi Arabia Moon Byung-joon, and representatives of 11 domestic IT startups.
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by domestic digital startups from various fields such as security, smart city, autonomous driving, AI solutions, and SW development who participated in the 'LEAP 2025' event with the hope of advancing into Saudi Arabia.

Team Naver plans to expand Saudi Arabia’s digital ecosystem through cooperation with domestic startups in various fields with excellent technological capabilities through this MOU. In fact, Team Naver is continuing its cooperation with LX and K-water in the Saudi Arabian digital twin platform construction project.
Chae Seon-ju, head of Naver’s external and ESG policy, said, “Saudi Arabia’s digital ecosystem, including the Saudi Arabian digital twin that Team Naver is currently building, is expected to grow even faster in the future,” adding, “We will strive to grow together through more practical cooperation with various domestic startups and partners that have excellent technological capabilities and are pursuing global expansion.”
