Adin Robotics announced on the 11th that it was selected for 'C-Lab Outside', a startup incubation program hosted by Samsung Electronics. Samsung C-Lab Outside is a program launched in 2018 to discover and support innovative startups, and provides customized programs for startups with technological prowess and business potential. With this selection, Adin Robotics has obtained the opportunity for business cooperation with Samsung Electronics.
Adin Robotics has developed a next-generation capacitive 6-axis force/torque sensor based on field sensing technology accumulated since 1995 at the Robotics Innovatory in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University, and is mass-producing and supplying it to major domestic and foreign companies.
In addition, Aidin Robotics expanded its 6-axis force/torque sensor, which is installed on the wrist of a collaborative robot, into an all-in-one kit package product tailored to domestic collaborative robot manufacturers such as Rainbow Robotics and Neuromeka last year and released it. Recently, it also developed a new product that can be easily installed in narrow areas such as grippers and fingers of robot hands tailored to the humanoid robot market.
Adin Robotics plans to expand its technological prowess in various robot markets, including collaborative robots, industrial robots, and service robots, through its selection for this C-Lab Outside program and future new product launches. CEO Lee Yoon-haeng said, “It is very meaningful to be selected for C-Lab Outside, operated by Samsung Electronics, as it feels like our technological prowess has been recognized,” and “Adin Robotics will lead innovative changes in the robot industry and expand its business model into various fields.”
