Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Recruiting Startups to Participate in 2025 Global Enterprise Collaboration Program

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Oh Young-joo, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups) announced that it will recruit startups that wish to participate in the 2025 'Global Corporate Collaboration Program' until the 26th.

The Global Enterprise Collaboration Program is a global open innovation program in which the government and leading global companies collaborate to support the growth of our startups and provide opportunities to enter overseas markets. It started as a 'window' program to support the growth of startups in the Google Play and mobile service sectors in 2019, and has gradually expanded, with a total of 1,231 startups having gone through the Global Enterprise Collaboration Program as of last year.

This year, three new partners have joined, including Thales, a global leader in defense, aerospace, and cybersecurity; L’Oréal Korea, the world’s largest beauty company; and Air Liquide, a global industrial gas company, bringing the total number of participating global companies to 13. In addition, a new program dedicated to space and aerospace startups will be established with existing participant Ansys, and a total of 14 programs will be operated. The support scale has also been significantly expanded compared to last year, when 305 startups were supported, with a total of 364 startups selected.

The selected startups will receive support from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' commercialization funds (up to 200 million won) and specialized programs. In addition, they will receive support from growth support programs consisting of professional services, education, consulting, and global market development from each global company.

In addition, in order to support continuous collaboration between startups participating in the global corporate collaboration program and global companies and to accelerate global expansion, the 'Global Corporate Collaboration Overseas Demonstration Program' will be newly established starting this year. We plan to provide follow-up support for PoC (Technical Feasibility Verification) and PoV (Business Viability Verification) for excellent graduates of the existing program, and a separate announcement will be made in March.
