Ocon Signs Business Agreement with Korean Epilepsy Society

On the 11th, Ocon announced that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Korean Epilepsy Society at Samsung Seoul Hospital on the 10th regarding raising social awareness of epilepsy and utilizing characters for children with epilepsy. The signing ceremony was attended by Ocon CEO Woo Ji-hee, Korean Epilepsy Society Chairman Seo Dae-won, and other officials.

Ocon is a global content company with popular characters such as Pororo, Princess Bunny, and Super Jack. Through this agreement, Ocon plans to support children suffering from epilepsy and their families. Ocon will provide gifts to patients using its character IP and plans to carry out various support activities through mutual consultation in the future.

“We have been thinking about ways to help children and their families who are struggling with incurable diseases, and that is why we have come up with this business agreement,” said Woo Ji-hee, CEO of Okon. “We will use characters like Pororo to raise social awareness of epilepsy and provide happy memories to patients.”
