Human Technology Acquires Argos

Human Technology announced on the 11th that it has decided to acquire 'Agos', a company specializing in anti-drone and next-generation radio communication systems. Through this acquisition, Human Technology plans to secure a unique position in the domestic and international anti-drone market and accelerate its conquest of related markets.

Agos is a company that possesses a variety of self-developed products, including the Comprehensive Anti-Drone System (C-UAS) 'Spider Shield', ▲Electromagnetic Wave Measurement and Monitoring System ▲Mobile Radio Environment Measurement System, as well as communication signal measurement and analysis solutions.

In particular, Agos' 'Spider Shield' is highly regarded as an integrated system that comprehensively equips key equipment for defense against drone and unmanned reconnaissance aircraft threats, such as the Public Procurement Service's innovative products, 'RF Scanner (radio frequency scanner),' 'C2 Software (integrated control program),' 'EO·IR Camera (electro-optical·infrared camera),' 'RF Jammer,' and 'GNSS Spoofer (satellite navigation deception system).

Currently, Agos' 'Anti-Drone System' is being introduced to various important national public facilities such as military and major power plants, nuclear power plants, gas and oil facilities, and airports. Human Technology expects that this acquisition will enable it to secure stronger competitiveness in the domestic and international anti-drone market.

A Human Technology official explained, “Argos is a company highly regarded in the relevant field for its outstanding technological prowess and wide-ranging supply performance of anti-drone systems,” and “We decided to acquire it because we believed there would be great synergy with our anti-drone defense system business.”

He continued, “By successfully completing the acquisition of Agos, we will focus on developing innovative products and solutions that can be widely adopted not only in the defense sector but also in the private and public sectors,” adding, “Through cooperation between our two companies, we plan to further strengthen our competitiveness in the global anti-drone market.”
