
Limited edition trading platform KREAM (CEO Changwook Kim) participated in the '2025 Counterfeit Goods Distribution Prevention Technology Conference' held at the Chosun Palace in Gangnam, Seoul on the 27th and announced its genuine product inspection system.
The event was hosted by the Patent Office and participated by related organizations and companies such as the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, and Crim, and was prepared as a place for sharing and cooperation on countermeasures to prevent the distribution of counterfeit goods.
Cream introduced the actual operating genuine product inspection system through the 'Sharing the Effects of Introducing Anti-Counterfeiting and Forgery Prevention Technology' session. Kwon Tae-hyun, the head of the inspection headquarters who gave the presentation, explained the operating method of the company's inspection center, inspection procedures for each product, and applied technology, and shared his experience in strengthening the ability to respond to counterfeit products through this.
Currently, Cream is operating an automated logistics and inspection center of approximately 3,000 pyeong in Songpa-gu. The center consists of a logistics unit and an inspection unit, and professional personnel use cutting-edge equipment to determine the authenticity of products. Key equipment includes a smart 3D CT, electron microscope, UV light, etc., and its special feature is that it can check the internal and detailed elements of products without damaging them.
Cream Kwon Tae-hyun, head of the inspection headquarters, said, “Cream operates a precise inspection system across various categories, and we are continuing to train specialized personnel and advance technology to protect consumers from counterfeit products.”
