
The Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Lee Young-geun, hereinafter referred to as the Seoul Center) announced that it successfully completed the Public-Private Collaborative Open Innovation Closed IR (hereinafter referred to as Closed IR) event for participating companies in the Public-Private Collaborative Open Innovation Support Project.
The public-private cooperation open innovation project hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Startup Promotion Agency is a project that discovers and plans areas requiring strategic collaboration through public-private cooperation every year, and discovers and supports startups through a strategic collaboration task proposal contest. Startups participating in the 2025 public-private cooperation open innovation support project are scheduled to be recruited in February.
As the main organization of the '2024 Public-Private Cooperation Open Innovation Support Project', the Seoul Center has prepared a venue for scale-up and exchange for companies seeking investment attraction support through this public-private cooperation Closed IR program.
This public-private cooperation Closed IR program was a private event, and was conducted for companies participating in the 2023-2024 public-private cooperation Open Innovation Support Project. 15 startups seeking investment and 15 AC/VC companies actively investing attended to review their investments.
Among the companies selected for the 23rd public-private cooperation open innovation support project, ▲Big Tech Plus Co., Ltd. ▲DBD Lab Co., Ltd. ▲Levoy Engineering ▲May I ▲Romin Co., Ltd. ▲Uptempo Global Co., Ltd. ▲AT Link Co., Ltd. ▲Leaders of Green Society Co., Ltd. ▲Poem Co., Ltd. ▲KD Lab Co., Ltd. Among the companies selected for the 24th public-private cooperation open innovation support project, ▲The Miracle Soft ▲DX Solutions ▲Soldac ▲AI2O ▲WUX Co., Ltd. ▲Craft Solutions, etc. A total of 15 startups participated, and 15 investment companies including ▲Blue Point Partners attended. After the IR, investor feedback was provided and follow-up investment meetings were held for actual investment connections.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Center has also established an investment operation office, raised funds, and begun its journey as an investment institution, and is currently creating a blind fund that will combine large corporate investments with the Seoul Center's main business of discovering open innovation startups.
Seoul Center CEO Lee Young-geun said, “We will actively support companies to achieve actual investment results through this Closed IR program,” and added, “The 2025 public-private cooperation open innovation support project recruitment is scheduled to take place in February, so we ask for a lot of interest from companies.”
