Fortytwodot Signs Business Agreement with Protocol Capital Group

FortiTuDot signed a 'MOU for Qatar Smart City Business Cooperation' with Protocol Capital Group at its new office building in Pangyo, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. Through this agreement, the two companies will demonstrate smart city solutions and robotaxi services in downtown Qatar and begin full-scale cooperation to implement a mobility-based smart city.

Forti2Dot will operate and maintain autonomous robotaxi services and vehicle control solutions in the heart of Doha, Qatar, and provide differentiated services by integrating and managing urban mobility data. In particular, Forti2Dot’s integrated vehicle calling platform will analyze real-time traffic conditions to dispatch robotaxi along the optimal route, and plans to build an intelligent control system to implement future urban services.

Qatar Protocol Capital Group operates global businesses centered on real estate, hospitality, and manufacturing, and is collaborating with several global companies for technology-based new businesses. In this agreement, the company plans to actively support smart city projects through cooperation with the Ministry of Transport under the Qatari government.

This agreement is considered an important turning point for realizing Qatar National Vision 2030, and the two companies plan to expand the scope of their cooperation after successfully introducing smart city solutions and autonomous vehicle services in Doha, Qatar, with the goal of transforming Qatar into a smart city by 2030.
