MarkVision Achieves KRW 30 Billion in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in 4 Years Since Service Launch

After achieving ARR of $10 million in the first quarter of last year, sales volume more than doubled in about a year

In line with the expansion of digital threats due to the spread of generative AI, we are continuously improving our all-in-one IP protection solution.

New IP services to be launched sequentially, targeting ARR of $60 million in 2026 and $100 million in 2027

MarkVision, an AI-based IP integration service company, announced on the 30th that its annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeded 22 million dollars (approximately 30 billion won) in just four years since its official service launch.

ARR is an indicator of subscription-based service revenue converted to an annual basis, and is a key figure that shows the sustainability and growth potential of SaaS (Software as a Service) companies. MarkVision achieved ARR of $10 million in the first quarter of last year by introducing a service that detects, analyzes, and sanctions counterfeit goods, unauthorized sales, illegal content, and brand impersonation based on its own AI and software in 2021. Since then, it has doubled its sales volume in just one year, drawing attention as one of the fastest-growing cases in the global AI-based SaaS market.

This growth is the result of a combination of external market environmental changes and strategic product direction. With the recent rapid expansion of generative AI, various digital threats such as counterfeit goods, unauthorized sales, website and account spoofing are expanding in all directions, and companies’ demand for brand protection is rapidly increasing.

At the same time, Markvision has been steadily automating IP protection solutions based on AI to overcome the limitations of the manual and fragmented response methods of traditional IP services, and has expanded its scope to a solution that provides all IP services in one platform. Markvision currently supports the IP life cycle of customers and brands in all aspects, centering on an integrated solution product line consisting of ▲Marq AI, which specializes in IP and brand protection, ▲Marq Folio, which assists in trademark application and management worldwide, and ▲Marq Law, which provides various offline investigation and crackdown services.

In particular, a total of 50.41 million brand infringement elements were sanctioned through Mark AI in 2024, a 66.5% increase from the previous year. Beyond sanctioning counterfeit goods and unauthorized sales, the scope has been expanded to block illegal content such as games, webtoons, and web novels, and respond to impersonation of companies and celebrities, proving its technological competitiveness. The overall sanction accuracy reaches 99.1%.

Based on these achievements, MarkVision is continuing its rapid growth by doubling the number of clients compared to the previous year. In addition to global brands that are already leading the industry, such as LUSH and LVMH, rapidly growing domestic and international emerging brands, such as TirTir, Annoir, and Malbon Golf, are steadily joining, further expanding the customer base.

MarkVision aims to achieve ARR of $60 million by 2026 and $100 million by 2027. Based on existing solutions, it plans to sequentially launch more than 60 modular product groups covering the entire IP service, including IP licensing, IP brand asset management, and IP creative creation, and evolve into an ‘IP operating system for the AI era.’

“As the importance of brand protection grows in the rapidly changing digital environment, we will do our best to ensure that Markvision’s AI-based integrated solution safely protects our customers’ IP assets and leads to tangible business results,” said Markvision CEO Lee In-seop. “We will lead the global IP market worth 100 trillion won based on technological innovation and customer-centered services.”
