The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Oh Young-joo) and the Korea Institute for Startups and Entrepreneurship Development (Acting President Choi Yeol-soo) announced that they will hold a '2025 Startup Support Project Mobile Briefing Session' in five regions across the country for (potential) entrepreneurs during the month of February.
This briefing session will explain the startup support project to be carried out by the Startup Promotion Agency in 2025 in collaboration with the Creative Economy Innovation Centers in five regions: the metropolitan area, Chungcheong area, Honam area, Daegyeong area, and Southeast area.
The briefing session is composed of four types of projects reflecting the policy demands of entrepreneurs: ▲Support projects by growth stage ▲Super gap, public-private cooperation, and re-challenge support projects ▲Startup infrastructure and education programs ▲Global and competitions, and a total of 17 projects will be explained in detail.
The main feature of this business briefing session is that it provides detailed information on each support project, including the target of support, support scale, recruitment period, and support content. After the presentations, business executives will personally meet with entrepreneurs to provide individualized consultations.
The briefing session will begin in the Chungcheong region on the 6th, and will travel to the metropolitan area on the 12th, the southeastern region on the 17th, the Honam region on the 20th, and the Daegu-Gyeonggi region on the 27th. Acting Director Choi Yeol-soo of the Korea Institute for Startups and Entrepreneurship Development said, “We have prepared briefing sessions for each region in order to get closer to startups in each region,” and “We will make extensive preparations for this traveling briefing session so that we can provide practical help.”
