Save the Children and Sunmoon University Sign MOU for Promotion of Children's Rights

Save the Children (Central Regional Headquarters Director Shim Hye-seol) announced on the 4th that it signed a business agreement with Seonmun University to promote children's rights.

This agreement was signed on the 4th at the main building of Seonmun University, and six people including Seonmun University ESG Social Contribution Center Director Kang Dong-hoon and Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters Director Sim Hye-seol attended the event.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to collaborate on ▲ program exchange and mutual cooperation ▲ promotion and recruitment of university student volunteers ▲ expansion and promotion of campaigns to advocate for the rights of children and adolescents ▲ educational support to improve and promote awareness of children's rights ▲ cooperation and promotion on major projects, etc.

Kang Dong-hoon, director of the ESG Social Contribution Center at Sunmoon University, said, “I hope that through this business agreement with Save the Children, the world’s first children’s rights advocacy organization, college students’ capacity for children’s rights will be strengthened.”

Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters Director Shim Hye-seol said, “We hope that through this agreement with Seonmun University, university students will increase their awareness of protecting children’s rights in the region.”

Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters Chungnam Children's Rights Center is implementing projects such as ▲support for livelihood, medical, housing, and education for low-income children ▲meal support for low-income children ▲support for eye disease treatment for low-income children ▲children's rights education for elementary schools ▲creating safe institutions for children ▲children's rights advocacy campaigns in the Chungnam and Sejong regions.
