Samjung Solution Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Chun-hwa), a radio interference specialist, announced on the 7th that it has been the first in Korea to have six anti-drone jammers designated as excellent procurement products by the Public Procurement Service. With this designation as an excellent procurement product by the Public Procurement Service, Samjung Solution Co., Ltd. believes that its technological prowess has been recognized in the domestic and international anti-drone markets.
Samjung Solution Co., Ltd. is a specialized company in radio interference and anti-drone solutions established in 2011. Its main business is radio interference devices, anti-drone systems, communication equipment, and military supplies development. It is expanding its presence in the global market by cooperating with various companies to jointly develop integrated drone detection and neutralization systems. In particular, it is recognized for its technological prowess and business capabilities through the registration of 25 related patents and 17 designs and trademarks, as well as over 50 intellectual property rights.
The products designated as excellent procurement this time are six types of cutting-edge jammers designed to counter illegal drones and unmanned aerial vehicle threats: ▲integrated anti-drone gun ▲detachable anti-drone gun ▲separate anti-drone gun Type 1 ▲separate anti-drone gun Type 2 ▲vehicle-mounted jammer ▲fixed jammer. All of these products are state-of-the-art equipment that utilizes Samjung Solution’s unique patented technology.
In the case of the 'integrated anti-drone gun', it is easy to simultaneously block various drones with a wide band (7 band) among domestic integrated portable equipment, and can neutralize drones attacking troops and facilities with the main body and antenna integrated equipment. The 'firearm-detachable anti-drone gun' is an ultra-lightweight popular model that improves power by combining soft kill and hard kill. When necessary, it can be mounted on a gun to neutralize illegal drones and shoot them down at the same time.
In addition, the 'Separate Anti-Drone Gun Type 1' and 'Type 2' are easy to carry and move as models for rapid demonstration power-up by the Agency for Defense Development, and are products with improved survivability and combat power due to the application of large-capacity batteries. They can be used to protect important national facilities and as a means of responding to drone terror attacks by the military and police, and have a frequency blocking distance of over 2km.
The 'vehicle-mounted jammer' is easy to deploy in a short period of time, adapting to the surrounding terrain and environment, and has a frequency blocking range of over 5km. The fixed jammer is effective for area defense as it enables continuous surveillance and defense through integrated system linkage with radar, EO/IR cameras, and RF scanners.
Samjung Solution Co., Ltd. expects that this designation as an excellent procurement product by the Public Procurement Service will result in the qualification of a national veterinary contract item for a three-year warranty period, thereby revitalizing public institution purchases and contributing to national security and domestic security against illegal drones and unmanned aerial vehicle attacks.
Currently, Samjung Solutions Co., Ltd. is developing an anti-drone solution that can be installed on various platforms on the ground, at sea, and in the air, and plans to provide an optimized defense system for each operational environment through this. It also expects that sales to public institutions will increase due to the designation of excellent procurement products, and new sales of ground platform-based mobile anti-drone solutions will also increase significantly.
