– Preparing for the coming AI agent innocomy era
– Product registration, sales, operation, etc. Commerce operation is handled automatically… Covers 50 countries, 1,000 marketplaces
– After attracting Series B, we are accelerating our global expansion and talent recruitment
“We are commercializing the Large Action Model (LAM) and generating sales. I think it is meaningful that a global company has verified and actually adopted Inhance’s technology.”

This was the first word from CEO Seunghyun Lee, whom we met at the Inhance office in Seocho-dong, Seoul. LAM is a next-generation AI model that converts natural language commands into actual actions. In simple terms, it can be said to be an AI robot that understands human intentions and performs complex tasks on its own. CEO Lee emphasized, “Inhance is the only company in the world that has commercialized the large action model. It is meaningful that global companies that thoroughly verify technology, such as P&G, Samsung Electronics, and CJ, have adopted Inhance’s technology.”
“While LLM only responds with text, LAM actually takes action to get things done. It’s like assigning work to a capable assistant,” said the representative, adding that they plan to further advance LAM technology and publish related research papers this year.
Attracting investment is also going smoothly. It attracted 2.5 billion won in pre-Series A in 2021, 9 billion won in Series A in 2023, and 17 billion won in Series B investment last month, securing a total of 29 billion won in accumulated investment. In 2024, it was selected for the 'AI Startup Accelerator 2' jointly operated by SK Telecom and Hana Bank. Using this as a stepping stone, Inhance is preparing to enter the US market this year and plans to accelerate the recruitment of top talent in the AI field.
CEO Lee, who graduated from KAIST Department of Computer Engineering, worked as a data analyst at Samsung Electronics. While working on an Amazon shopping project, he discovered the potential of commerce data, and through in-house research meetings on big data, AI, and commerce, he learned about the inefficiencies of e-commerce, and founded Enhance in 2021 with a research colleague.
■ We handle all areas of registration, sales, and operation automatically.
“Time is a human’s most valuable asset. Enhance is helping people focus on what is truly valuable through AI agents.”
This representative explained Inhans’ mission as follows. In particular, the e-commerce sector has a lot of simple repetitive work. Product distribution managers repeat similar routines every day. Even when trying to derive insights, it is difficult because the data is scattered in many places. “These days, e-commerce companies are in a dilemma where sales are increasing but profits are decreasing. With marketplace policies changing frequently and millions of products being traded every day, it is no longer possible to operate efficiently with the existing methods,” he explained the difficulties of operating e-commerce.
To solve these problems, Enhance developed 'CommerceOS', an AI agent that helps to efficiently operate more than 1,000 marketplaces in 50 countries.
CommerceOS consists of a total of 12 specialized AI agents. It supports the entire process of product registration, sales, and operation required for commerce operation, such as 'price', 'performance indicator', 'display', 'advertisement', 'promotion', 'SNS', 'product experience', 'brand protection', 'inventory', 'customer service', 'order processing', and 'product sourcing'. Each agent creates its own workflow to achieve its goals, interacts with various tools, and performs tasks. For example, the price management agent comprehensively analyzes the prices of competitors, the company, and distributors, and carefully analyzes discount strategies, coupon utilization, review point strategies, additional options, and discount information on promotion pages to derive prices.
Each agent is provided in stages from Level 1 to Level 4. Level 1 is the raw data collection stage, Level 2 is the data analysis and insight derivation stage. Level 3 performs automated tasks based on the derived insights, and Level 4 is the stage where autonomous collaboration between agents is possible. Enhance aims to advance all agents to the highest level, Level 4, by 2026.
The biggest advantage of CommerceOS is its high accuracy. The representative emphasized, “For AI to replace human work, it needs to have accuracy close to 100%. Price management and promotion analysis are showing more accurate results than humans.”
■ Powerful data processing, advanced multi-modal AI, and automation technology
Inhance's core technology lies in its self-developed 'AIAP (AI Agent Platform)'. AIAP is a platform that integrates the three core elements of AI agents: data processing, AI, and automation technology. Based on this, Inhance manages 12 AI agents of CommerceOS in an integrated manner and supports the work of each agent through Agent Farm.
“AIAP is a kind of agent builder,” the representative explained. “It creates AI that can communicate and work like a human. Each agent is matched with tools optimized for a specific task, so it can think, click, and interact like a real person.”
The first feature of AIAP is its powerful data processing capability. It can process over 170 million product data per day from over 1,000 shopping platforms in 50 countries around the world. It autonomously collects necessary information by looking at the screen, reading, clicking, and moving through a web browser just like a person. It boasts a success rate of over 99% in collecting information.
The second feature is advanced multi-modal AI technology. It accurately identifies brand and product information by analyzing text, images, and videos. All analysis results have SOTA (State-Of-the-Art) performance and boast an accuracy of over 99%. In particular, the processing speed is fast enough to enable distribution and verification within 5 minutes, and it has over 200 AI models for structured and unstructured data analysis.
The last key is the innovative automation technology. Through LAM, it can reason like a human, interact directly with the web environment, and perform real actions rather than simple text responses. It can handle more than 2.5 million automation tasks per day, and it is an efficient operation that operates LAM only when there is a change in content, resulting in a 98% cost reduction compared to existing methods.
■ Standing tall as a central company in the AI agent economy era
“In 2031, a new economic era led by AI agents will begin. Inhans aims to be at the center of this revolutionary change.”
The AI agent economy refers to the phenomenon in which artificial intelligence becomes a new axis of economic activity by replacing repetitive tasks, data analysis, and decision-making. As work is automated through autonomous transactions between AI agents, companies can kill two birds with one stone: cost reduction and increased productivity.
The representative explained the agent economy through the evolution of commerce as follows: “Humanity started with bartering, created markets, and developed e-commerce to expand transaction scale and reduce transaction costs. Now, we are going one step further and entering an era where transactions take place between AI agents. It’s like when a buyer says, ‘Buy me a certain product,’ the purchasing agent makes the optimal choice, and the seller’s agent establishes the optimal sales strategy on its own. Agents on both sides analyze tens of thousands of products in an instant and conclude the optimal transaction.”
Market research firms predict that the AI agent market will grow to $50.3 billion by 2030. Inhance sees 2031 as the full-fledged starting point of the AI agent economy and is making preparations for it step by step.
“Our goal goes beyond simply automating e-commerce. We are preparing a new economic paradigm, the agent economy, where direct transactions take place between AI agents,” the representative said.
■ Talent who is not afraid of failure
“The talent we are looking for is someone who is not afraid of failure. We do not simply want someone who has experienced failure, but someone who does not lose a positive mindset during the process and ultimately produces results. We prefer someone who can demonstrate actual execution ability, not just a verbal plan. Failure is inevitable in the process of taking on challenges, but someone who does not get discouraged by it and steadily moves forward toward the future. That is the kind of talent we are looking for,” he explained about his ideal talent.
Attention is being paid to whether Inhance, which is planning to recruit talent for global expansion and full-scale growth, will be able to grow into a leading company in the upcoming agent economy era.
