Strong Ventures-Korea Investment Accelerator, Investing in Power Task

PowerTask, which operates the business automation platform ' Outcode ', announced on the 6th that it had attracted investment through a Pre-A investment round. The investment amount was undisclosed, and this round was led by Strong Ventures, with existing investor Korea Investment Accelerator also participating.

Since launching 'Outcode' in 2023, PowerTask has rapidly grown into a business automation platform that can connect various data sources and applications of companies to meet the needs of work automation and workflow. Through this, companies can easily and quickly build efficient workflows that can achieve both cost reduction and productivity improvement.

In particular, it is noteworthy that more than 92% of Outcode users are non-developers. This makes it possible to set up automated processes through an intuitive user environment without relying on development personnel, making it a platform that can be utilized by various departments. In addition, Outcode provides high security and management reliability through data protection functions, two-step authentication (2FA), user authority management, and audit logs.

Moon Chang-hoon, CEO of Power Task, said, “With this investment, we plan to focus on developing agent functions based on generative AI,” and “We will focus on developing and distributing a business automation platform that can respond to the era of AI agents.”

“Outcode provides an innovative business automation platform in the corporate environment and is a solution with the potential to lead the business automation market,” said Hye-rim Yoo, an appraiser at Strong Ventures, explaining the reason for the investment, adding, “As business efficiency and operational optimization are becoming core to corporate competitiveness, Outcode’s technological prowess and flexible platform design demonstrate high scalability and applicability to various industries.”

“Since the seed investment, we have continuously confirmed Outcode’s significant growth and the execution capabilities of the team that led it,” said Lee Tak-rim, Director of Korea Investment Accelerator. “We are confident that the team can deploy a breakthrough strategy in the data-driven workflow automation market.”
