Korea Deep Learning provides customized AI solutions to public institutions and companies by utilizing deep learning-based image and video analysis technology. It develops various vision AI solutions such as OCR character recognition, object detection, image understanding, image creation, and 3D model creation, and implements solutions using multimodal data.
Hummingsoft is a Malaysian software company that provides a range of solutions for digital transformation and automation in the construction industry.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to increase the efficiency and accuracy of construction sites, reduce labor costs, and improve productivity. In particular, they aim to lead the introduction of AI technology in the Asian construction market, including Malaysia. The two companies plan to develop a solution that automatically detects cracks on the exterior walls of buildings captured by drones through AI image analysis and classifies them by type. Through this, they will conduct research and development in the direction of automating building safety diagnosis and increasing the efficiency of safety management at construction sites.
Korea Deep Learning will be responsible for the entire AI development process from AI model design to data analysis and solution implementation, while HummingSoft will provide construction domain knowledge and data, identify local market needs, and apply them to solutions.
Kim Ji-hyun, CEO of Korea Deep Learning, said, “Through this MOU, we expect to be able to accelerate the digital transformation of the construction industry by combining the technologies and expertise of both companies,” and “We will present a new paradigm to construction sites with Korea Deep Learning’s innovative AI solutions.”
