Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency announced on the 5th that they are recruiting creators to participate in the '2025 Gyeonggi Province 1-person Creator Production Support' project to foster full-time creators (online video creators). The recruitment period is until February 16, and this support project targets creators with channels with 1,000 to 100,000 subscribers based in Gyeonggi Province.
The '2025 Gyeonggi-do 1-person Creator Production Support' project started in 2017 and has been supporting the growth of various 1-person creators active in Gyeonggi-do. In particular, creators who have posted more than 5 video contents that they planned and produced themselves in the past 3 months can apply, and various creators such as 'Janna Korea', 'Bokwonwang', and 'Fitbley' have grown through support so far.
In this project, a total of 40 teams will be selected through document screening and interview screening, and the selected creator teams will be provided with production support funds and capacity building programs through a three-stage competitive process. The teams that advance to the final three stages will receive up to 8.8 million won in production support funds, and all teams will be provided with various capacity building programs such as expert consulting, special lectures, and creator networking meetings. In addition, the five excellent creator teams selected through screening will be provided with additional benefits such as employment support funds that are in line with demand.
Kang Ji-sook, head of the Gyeonggi-do Content Industry Division, said, “We will spare no support to help individual creators in Gyeonggi-do successfully establish themselves in the rapidly growing creator ecosystem,” and “Through this support project, we will help creators in Gyeonggi-do strengthen their capabilities and create more opportunities.”
