Suprema (CEO Jaewon Lee and Hancheol Kim), an AI-integrated security solution specialist, has received the GS (Good Software) certification grade 1 for its AI-based video surveillance solution, 'BioStar 2 VMS', which integrates access control and video analysis. Through this certification, Suprema has strengthened its reliability in the public and private markets in the field of AI video surveillance.
BioStar 2 VMS combines Suprema's 20-year expertise in access control technology with intelligent video management (VMS) and incorporates AI-based facial recognition and behavioral analysis technology developed by Suprema. Real-time access control, video monitoring, and intelligent video analysis can be performed simultaneously on a single screen, greatly improving operational efficiency. In addition, the location and situation can be intuitively checked at a glance in the event of an abnormal situation, enabling a rapid response, and this allows for a safer environment to be built, implementing truly integrated security optimized for national security facilities and infrastructure that require a high level of security.
Suprema's AI-based facial recognition and intelligent video analysis algorithms can be easily installed as a plug-in, providing strong security wherever it is needed. This plug-in is equipped with various intelligent video analysis functions such as abnormal behavior analysis such as intrusion, wandering, and falling, as well as people counting and tailgating. In addition, the patented AI facial recognition technology can be utilized in application fields such as blacklist detection and missing person search, so it is expected that the introduction of Biostar 2 VMS will expand not only in the security of important national facilities but also in the smart city field that contributes to crime prevention and social safety.
