Inspiron's 'Connect Service' Obtains Cloud Security Certification

Inspien (CEO Jeong-gyu Choi), a cloud EDI specialist, announced that its currently deployed 'Connect Service' has become the first in the domestic EDI industry to receive the Cloud Security Certification (CSAP) from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

Inspien believes that its 'Connect Service' has been recognized as a safe and reliable cloud service that can be used by government and public institutions, as it recently received New Product (NEP) certification and Cloud Security Certification (CSAP).

Cloud Security Certification (CSAP) certification is a security certification system operated by the government to provide safe and reliable private cloud services to the state and public institutions. It aims to improve the level of information protection and resolve security concerns by conducting objective and fair evaluations of cloud services that meet security certification standards. In addition, it contributes to securing the competitiveness of cloud services and is evaluated as an essential requirement for providing services to the state and public institutions.

The 'Connect Service', which recently acquired additional certification, operates on a cloud SaaS basis, so there is no need for separate hardware and software installation, which can significantly reduce initial introduction costs. In addition, it is a subscription service where prices are determined based on the amount of documents used, so it is characterized by being able to operate EDI at a reasonable cost. In particular, cloud-based Connect Service is attracting attention as the best alternative to solve the high cost burden of on-premise methods or language and time difference issues of overseas services.

Inspian CEO Jeong-Gyu Choi said, “As many public institutions are recently converting their aging EDI systems to cloud-based EDI, Connect Service has secured all the conditions and security competitiveness required for SaaS provision in the public market by obtaining CSAP certification. We will continue to maintain a competitive edge based on our technological prowess in the EDI market.”

Meanwhile, Inspeon's ConnectService 2.0 is an enterprise EDI SaaS platform that uses cloud technology. It received New Product (NEP) certification with the product name 'Enterprise EDI SaaS service using OSGi development technology' at the '2024 New Technology (NET) · New Product (NEP) Certification Ceremony', and was awarded the Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office Award (Silver Award) at the 2024 Invention Patent Competition for its patent for 'Blockly-based application integration program (Camel) generation test tool'.
