Display specialist Hyundai IT announced on the 5th that it was selected as a family-friendly company in 2024 by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
The 'Family-Friendly Company' certification is an official certification given to companies that provide an environment where employees can perform their jobs efficiently while maintaining a balance between work and family. The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family examines and certifies companies that operate family-friendly systems such as childbirth and childcare systems, flexible work systems, and health support in an exemplary manner. The certification is valid for three years, and companies that receive the certification receive various benefits.
Hyundai IT operates various welfare systems to create a family-friendly corporate culture. Every Friday is designated as 'Family Love Day' to encourage employees to leave work on time, and on the last Friday of every month, a system is implemented to leave work one hour early. In addition, various family-friendly management programs such as family care leave, spouse parental leave, and support for family leisure activities are being implemented to increase the satisfaction of employees and their families.
Jang Je-man, CEO of Hyundai IT, said, “I believe that a family-friendly system is a great benefit to both workers and companies,” and added, “We plan to continue to support mutual growth through work-life balance by focusing on the happiness of employees and their families.”
