Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced that it will hold a performance exchange meeting called 'Connecting Day' to conclude the 2024 Early Startup Package Project at Signiel Busan at 11:00 AM on the 4th.
This event was designed to provide growth opportunities through networking with the 30 companies selected for the 2024 Startup Package and startup professionals. In particular, it consists of programs that can provide practical help, such as ▲sharing business performance and introducing the center's startup support projects ▲guidance and consultation on the 2025 startup support projects ▲mentoring on writing business plans.
Busan Changgyeong supported 30 startup companies by operating 13 programs, including a total of KRW 2.19 billion (an average of KRW 70 million per company) in commercialization funding support through the initial startup package for nine months from May 2024 to January 2025.
Among the selected companies, Busan-based Timreboot Co., Ltd. attracted direct investment (KRW 200 million) from Busan Changgyeong, achieved a tenfold increase in sales compared to the previous year, and received a commendation from a related organization. In addition, many other companies have positioned themselves as an opportunity to expand their networks and strengthen their competitiveness.
Representatives of the selected companies who attended the event said, “We received a lot of help in improving business items, making investments, and expanding networks while participating in this project for a year,” and added, “We would like to thank Busan Changgyeong for their hard work.”
Busan Changgyeong Park Ki-ppeum PM said, “The 2024 Startup Package was a year that achieved the greatest results in investment, sales, and employment,” and “In 2025, we will expand growth opportunities for startups through a more advanced startup support program.”
Meanwhile, the Early Startup Package is a project hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and organized by Busan Changgyeong, which provides commercialization funds and startup programs for early startups under 3 years old. Busan Changgyeong was selected as the hosting organization in 2023 and plans to continue operating the project in 2025.
